Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in New Philadelphia, OH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to help with daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and may rotate to front-end duties as needed. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a positive, respectful atmosphere with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills required.
• High level of integrity and basic math proficiency for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
