Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help manage daily store operations, assist customers, and support front-end duties as needed.

You will be cross-trained to handle cash registers, merchandising, stocking, and cleaning to keep the store welcoming and efficient for shoppers. The role requires strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Maintaining a positive, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
