Job summary

Family Dollar in Kentucky is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, ring up transactions, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and help unload trucks.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma (preferred), strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow instructions. You will work at 9750 Meta Hwy, Meta, KY 41501.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
