Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and solutions for home improvement. You’ll engage with customers throughout the day, assist in locating items, and ensure needs are met with a friendly, professional approach.

Role spans multiple departments; training may occur in Appliances, Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical, and more. This is a part-time position supporting customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for daily tasks.
• 6 months experience with common retail technologies (phones, tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by filling empty shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, cut pipe, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
