Job summary

Mark Porter-Farmers Insurance Agency in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking a positive, enthusiastic Part-Time Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will service new and existing accounts with professionalism, learn quickly, and help achieve agency sales goals and service standards.

No prior insurance experience is required; we will train the right candidate who can multitask, dial in great phone etiquette, and build relationships from a cold start.

Qualifications

• No insurance experience required but willingness to learn.
• Must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several tasks at once.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.
• Take premium payments from customers.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and emails with customers and update records.
• Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
• Call prospective customers using VOIP, auto-dialing systems, and other internet tools.

Responsibilities

Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.

Take premium payments from customers.

Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.

Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.

Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.

Requirements

• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

• A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
