Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC in Shinnston, WV is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You'll assist customers, manage transactions at the cash register, and help maintain store appearance.

This part-time role involves stock replenishment, unloading trucks, safety and cleanliness, and supporting teammates. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness
• Other duties as assigned
