Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean. The role involves unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and ensuring neat, presentable areas.
