Job summary

Dollar Tree in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and ensure store cleanliness.

You will lift 30–50 lbs, help unload trucks, and maintain a safe, respectful environment while providing excellent service. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
