Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle sales transactions at the register, and help maintain cash security and assets.

The role includes keeping the store stocked, unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. This part-time position offers opportunities to develop customer service and store operations skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment according to productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
