Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Lexington to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with customers and colleagues, with duties including maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and assist with unloading trucks.
• Provide a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Maintain professional and friendly interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.
