Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate at our Cedar Springs, MI location to greet customers, assist with questions, and process transactions at the register.

You will also help stock, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store while delivering friendly, efficient service. This role emphasizes customer care and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks like frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash.
