Job summary

The Container Store in Atlanta is seeking an Order Specialist to handle daily order management, curbside pickup coordination, and local delivery needs while engaging with Walk-In customers in a fast-paced retail location.

You will work with store leadership to keep the stockroom neat, safe, and organized, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. Weekend availability and strong customer interaction are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years inventory experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Focused attention to detail with organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proven communication and coaching skills.
• Minimum 10-15 hours a week required.
• Weekend availability required.
• Retail experience and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and prepares customer orders for pickup.
• Ensures daily evaluation of order quantities to meet curbside and local delivery demand.
• Executes daily tasks to ensure on-time completion of orders.
• Communicates with customers on order issues through resolution.
• Maintains an organized and safe stockroom to support selling efforts.
• Adheres to time expectations with accuracy and pace.
• Maintains Elfa product area in the stock room.
• Performs daily location audits on customer orders.
• Updates staging locations and Elfa pull sequence as needed.
• Reviews Product Not Arriving as Expected reports and acts timely.
• Identifies and helps develop an efficient order processing team.
• Understands sales goals and holds staff accountable.
• Leads the salesfloor and collaborates with managers.
• Actively engages with customers to solve organizational challenges.
