Job summary

The Container Store in Atlanta, GA is seeking a part-time sales leader to manage the sales floor during specified shifts. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on driving traffic, conversions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will coach a part-time team, maintain brand standards, and participate in ongoing training to uphold selling behaviors and store goals. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail sales or related experience – some management a plus.
• Commitment to role model and lead a successful sales environment.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience with selling and leading a sales floor.
• Part-time, hourly position – able to work 20–25 hours a week with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set clear daily performance objectives, plan and execute daily huddle with the team, and lead the sales floor during assigned shifts.
• Drive sales results and conversion by analyzing the business during assigned shifts to determine proper KPI focus; coach and provide feedback on selling behaviors.
• Meet or exceed expectations for individual selling behaviors and KPI targets.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of the part-time team.
• Provide recognition to the team that reinforces positive behaviors and desired results.
• Utilize company programs and tools to support the training and development of the part-time team.
• Lead the sales floor during assigned shifts with proficiency in The Container Store’s Salesfloor Leadership program.
