Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases and cardiac catheterizations. The role includes participating in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required, with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

Responsibilities
