Job summary
UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations. The role participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Alabama CRNA certification, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
- Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
