Job summary

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County, PA, is seeking a Part-Time RN for day shift with a 24/7 on-call requirement. The role covers fast-paced surgical, procedural, and IR recovery units, requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS. On-site duties involve direct patient care, care coordination, and collaboration across disciplines.

Minimum education includes a Diploma or Associate degree; BSN preferred. Prior ICU/ED/PACU experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care in accordance with patient and family-centered care; acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit.
• Safely and independently administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions based on assessment and plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes time based on patient condition and workload; recognizes changes in status and activates resources.
• Documents patient responses and progress toward outcomes; uses EMR and flow sheets for documentation.
• Identifies opportunities for performance improvement and evidence-based practice; supports SDM and team collaboration.
