Job summary

WellSpan Health’s Intensive Care Unit at Ephrata Community Hospital seeks a dedicated ICU nurse for the full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am, rotating weekends/holidays). The nurse acts as primary caregiver, coordinates care with the team, and supports family-centered care in a 10-bed unit with complex critical care cases.

The role requires ICU experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• ICU RN experience required.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS may be required or obtained within specified timelines.
• Active RN license (state or multi-state) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as the primary nurse for assigned patients.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments and medications; documents responses.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
