Job Description

Purpose and Scope

The PT Coordinator II, Office of Governance, Accountability andCompliance (OGAC) facilitates day-to-day and some long-termoperations within a large and/or System-wide area of specialty,playing a strong role in leading and planning, development,evaluation, and improvement. Assigned area and responsibilitieswill be extensive. May be responsible for ensuring smooth andefficient operations as well as compliance with policies,procedures, and a variety of local, state, and federal regulations.Coordinates logistics, services, and support surrounding the budgetplanning process and for tracking and coordinating budgetexpenditures. Makes and communicates process decisions based onbest practices.


Essential Job Functions


  1. Performs research relevant to the area of specialty, develops,monitors, and maintains a variety of spreadsheets, databases,reports, and presents findings to internal constituents (mayinclude LSCS Managers/Executives and vendors)

  2. Monitors and controls resources such as office supplies andequipment needed within the departments, submits requisitions, andreviews and approves/denies purchase requests in accordance withthe budget, policy, procedures, and business processes

  3. Manages or assists with management of departments' budgets andexpenditures, including expense tracking and reconciliation

  4. Coordinates daily operations of assigned area. Maintainrecords. Maintains current knowledge base of assigned area and actsas a point of contact for internal and external customers

  5. Creates and submits a variety of reports related to assignedarea and presents findings. May make presentations to both internaland external customers

  6. Assists with creating methods of evaluation of assigned area.Analyzes results and makes recommendations for revisions toobjectives and strategies

  7. May be responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance withlocal/state/federal compliance of processes and documentationwithin assigned area

  8. Coordinate various departments and leadership calendars andschedules. Plan, schedule, and coordinate variousmeetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation,marketing and training materials, and general support

  9. Create and update workflows, job aids, and business processesrelevant to the area of specialty. Maintains a cycle of properrecords management

  10. Takes part in and/or takes lead on special projects asneeded

  11. Responsible for other reasonable related duties asassigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail

  • Excellent knowledge of general office and softwareapplications

  • Ability to prepare and analyze reports (advanced formulas,pivot tables, dashboards)

  • Possesses excellent organizational skills

  • Strong multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritizeduties

Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; ordriving an automobile. No special physical demands are required toperform the work.


Work Schedule and Conditions


  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in aMicrosoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other generaloffice equipment

  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed tocarry out the functions of the position

  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimalexposure to safety hazards


Required Qualifications


  • Associate degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience,or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with budget management


Salary

Hourly Pay Rate is $20.70
