Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Cook to join our dining team, focused on preparing cold food, bakery and salad items in a community setting. The role supports delivering meals residents are proud to call home.

Shift: 8am-6:30pm, part-time with weekends required. Wage: $24-$27 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining food safety, portion control and teamwork to ensure high-quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Six months experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledgeable in cooking large quantities with consistent results.
• Knowledgeable of culinary practices, procedures, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals that follow menus and recipes. Ensure meals are appealing in taste and appearance.
• Inspect diet trays to ensure correct diets are served and portion control is followed.
• Prepare cold items, bakery and salad items as required.
• Cook hot foods as directed by supervisors and maintain food safety standards.
• Adhere to food service timelines and assist with inventory and stocking.
