Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a part-time Cook to join our team, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role emphasizes preparing hot and cold menu items, portions, and presentation in a senior living setting.

Experience in senior living is preferred; strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with attention to detail and the ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
