Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Cook to prepare cold foods, bakery and salad items in the evenings (Monday–Friday; some weekends) at a community facility in Missoula, Montana. The role emphasizes following menus, recipes and food safety regulations while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsible for assisting with food prep for special meals and events, and ensuring meals are served with proper portions and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Six months experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledgeable in cooking large quantities of food with little to no direction.
• Knowledgeable of culinary practices, procedures, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menus and recipes with appetizing appearance.
• Inspect diet trays and follow portion control procedures.
• Prepare cold items, bakery and salad items.
• Cook hot foods as directed and ensure food safety practices.
