• Knowledgeable of culinary practices, procedures, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus and recipes with palatability and proper appearance.
• Inspect diet trays to ensure correct diet is served; follow portion control procedures.
• Prepare cold items, bakery and salad items.
• Cook hot foods as directed; ensure food safety practices.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout shift.
• Assist with inventory and preparation for upcoming meals.
