Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a part-time Cook to assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing, cooking, and serving food according to recipes and daily menus.

You will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities include maintaining clean stations, monitoring supplies and costs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced park dining environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary knowledge required.

• Partial HS education; HS diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Operate food station, complete station checklist, temperature log, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on future needs.
• Monitor menus and spending to ensure meals are prepared economically.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management.
