Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a Content Strategist to lead digital content strategy, taxonomy architecture, governance, and migration planning for the GeoInfo web presence. You’ll partner with delivery teams, program directors, subject matter experts, and product managers to establish standardized editorial policies and training resources.

The role focuses on sitemap alignment, taxonomy hierarchies, structured content schemas for Drupal/Wagtail, metadata taxonomies, and migration criteria before development

Qualifications

• Proven experience building governance frameworks for large digital ecosystems.
• Experience designing editorial workflows and permission structures.
• Ability to translate scientific/technical content for broad audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Drupal or Wagtail CMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish institutional content standards across departments.
• Diagram end-to-end editorial workflows from drafting to archiving.
• Plan taxonomies, metadata schemas, and structured CMS components.
• Create a practical Content Management Handbook with SOPs.
• Develop a phase-based Content Migration Plan and mapping.
• Support data ingestion and inventory audits for GeoInfo content.
