Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a CMS Implementation Specialist to lead the end-to-end technical implementation of the GeoInfo website, working with product, design, and security teams. The role focuses on Drupal and/or Wagtail, taxonomy alignment, and robust migrations to meet a 2027 launch milestone.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in CMS development, strong documentation skills, and experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in a contract, on-site setting in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on CMS development and technical implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Drupal (PHP, Twig) and/or Wagtail (Python/Django).
• Experience with modular content structures and editorial workflows.
• Experience migrating large content/assets between systems.
• Ability to document architecture and decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implement responsive CMS page models with Drupal and/or Wagtail.
• Align information architecture from Level 0 through Level 2 and beyond.
• Coordinate with security, hosting, and accessibility teams.
• Manage content migration pipelines and asset migrations.
• Lead testing, launch readiness, and integration with external systems.
