Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a CMS Implementation Specialist to lead the end-to-end technical implementation of the GeoInfo website, using Drupal and/or Wagtail. You will collaborate with project management and design teams to transform strategy into robust CMS solutions.

The role focuses on configurable templates, content modeling, and large-scale data migrations, with emphasis on testing, security, and go-live readiness. Travel to on-site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on CMS development and large-scale data migrations.
• Proficiency in Drupal (PHP) and/or Wagtail (Python).
• Experience with content migration pipelines and asset migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CMS implementation, including core structures and templates.
• Coordinate architecture with security, hosting, and accessibility standards.
• Migrate priority text, assets, and relational data to the new CMS.
• Configure redirects, routing, and navigation between legacy and new sites.
• Own testing, go-live readiness, and integration with external systems.
• Document architecture decisions and create ADRs for handoffs.
• Track deliverables, bugs, and technical debt using Jira.
