Job summary

The Avalon of New Albany is recruiting a hospitality-focused Concierge to warmly greet residents, guests, and vendors. This role serves as the first face visitors see in our community and supports daily operations.

Responsibilities include handling telephone coverage, logging deliveries, preparing maintenance work orders, and assisting the Business Office Manager with small projects. The position is part-time with a Tue & Fri schedule and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Part-time – Tue & Fri and every other weekend; 4:30pm-8pm on weekdays, 9am-3pm on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, and service providers in a warm, professional manner.
• Provide ongoing telephone coverage and resolve issues to prevent escalation.
• Accept and log delivery packages, notify recipients, and document receipt.
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments.
