Job summary

The Avalon of Lewis Center is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to greet residents, guests, and vendors with warmth and professionalism. This part-time front desk role reports to the community and involves handling phone coverage, deliveries, and maintenance requests in a welcoming environment.

Hours are 4p-9p on weekdays and 8a-2p or 2p-9p on weekends; pay starts at $15 per hour, with benefits varying by status. Open interviews occur on Wednesdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent telephone communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
