Job summary

The Avalon of New Albany is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to warmly greet residents, guests, and vendors. You will be the first face visitors see, handling inquiries and coordinating deliveries in a busy senior living community.

The role offers a part-time schedule: every other Tuesday & Friday and every other weekend, with weekday shifts 4:30pm-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 9am-3pm. Prior Office experience is a plus; EEO Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
