Job summary

Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra is seeking a part-time Production Coordinator to manage concert and rehearsal logistics for eight regular-season concerts. The role collaborates with the Executive Director to ensure smooth experiences for audiences, venues, and musicians.

Qualifications

• Must be present at regular season concerts, including prep and post-concert hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Day-of-Concert details well in advance and on concert day, including ushers, stage setup/tear-down.
• Assist with acquiring equipment for each concert as directed by Executive and Music Directors.
• Finalize stage plots with ED and MD for each venue.
• Visit potential venues to determine suitability when needed.
• Visit venues two weeks prior to concerts to finalize details and address accessibility issues.
• Assist with concert volunteer needs, especially Front-of-House and Back-of-House.
• Be primary BoH contact during the concert and attend weekly rehearsals as needed.
• Communicate with ED to ensure rehearsal setup aligns with personnel expectations.
• Ensure equipment/instrument needs are met and coordinate cartage if necessary.
