Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a part-time Driver to transport individuals to day programs and residences, ensuring safety and compassionate interaction. The role requires experience with people with disabilities, a clean driving record, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include route management, vehicle maintenance, documentation, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure on-time service for residents and participants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 19+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Valid MA or neighboring state driver’s license with clean record.
• CORI/background checks and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport persons served to programs and residences per routes and timelines.
• Assist passengers entering/exiting vehicle and ensure seatbelts/boarding safety.
• Interact with passengers and families with patience and sensitivity.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with laws and safety procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance checks.
• Complete surveys, attendance, mileage, and incident reports as required.
