Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Courtesy Officer to help maintain a welcoming and secure environment at a Huntsville multifamily community. This part-time role offers additional income, resident rapport building, and rent-discount perks while contributing to a safe living setting.

Responsibilities include patrolling grounds, handling non-emergency needs like lockouts, and coordinating with management and local law enforcement as needed. A high school diploma and valid credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Active or retired law enforcement or military background required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence on the property by patrolling daily.
• Respond to noise complaints and de-escalate as needed.
• Assist residents with lockouts and other non-emergency needs.
• Monitor common areas such as pools, laundry, and fitness facilities.
• Report maintenance issues and observe for vandalism or suspicious activity.
• Support community safety through routine patrols and coordination with local law enforcement.
