Arlington Properties is seeking a Courtesy Officer for The Flats at East Bay in Fairhope, AL. The position is part-time and aims to maintain a welcoming, safe environment for residents at the multifamily community.

Responsibilities include patrolling grounds, responding to noise complaints, assisting residents with needs, and coordinating with local law enforcement when needed, all while upholding property policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active enforcement officer
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain calm and professionalism in all situations
• Detail-oriented with excellent observational skills
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence throughout the property by walking the grounds daily
• Respond to noise complaints and help de-escalate situations professionally
• Assist residents with non-emergency needs
• Monitor common areas like pools, game rooms, and fitness facilities
• Check lighting and report maintenance needs to the management team
• Observe and report vandalism, suspicious activity, or vehicle violations
• Support overall community safety through routine patrols
• Contact local law enforcement when appropriate, in accordance with policy
