Job summary

KIPP Columbus seeks enthusiastic, relationship-oriented individuals to serve as Student Recruitment Ambassadors. This part-time role (25 hours/week) supports outreach, engagement with prospective families, and recruitment activities to generate applications for our schools.

Ambassadors will be a welcoming face in the community, receive leadership training, and help promote the mission, programs, and opportunities at KIPP Columbus, including school events and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Spoken and written language skills other than English are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with community organizations, schools and local businesses to establish partnerships that promote our school and expand our reach.
• Identify partnerships with community based organizations that could amplify or promote KIPP through their networks, events, and other communications
• Actively participate in and represent KIPP Columbus at external events, such as fairs, open houses, and community events in order to engage with families, answer inquiries and disseminate information about our school's programs and offerings.
• Research and plan for opportunities to attend community events in order to promote our Student Enrollment Lottery to support application goals.
• Identify and plan for opportunities to participate in events around the school community throughout the school year.
• Support the organization and hosting of events that welcome community organizations and leaders to the school community
