Job summary

Westminster Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Events and Ministry Coordinator to support 1–2 apartment communities in Irving and Fort Worth, TX.

The role focuses on creating resident programs, connecting residents with resources, and building community engagement, with 8–16 hours per week at $21/hour; afternoons, evenings, weekends.

You will coordinate workshops, work with onsite staff and partners, and submit monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, human services, or a related field.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Basic computer and English writing skills.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to commit to the required service term and weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs for 1–2 apartment communities in Irving and Fort Worth.
• Organize 2–3 events or workshops each month focused on engagement and wellness.
• Assist residents by connecting them with rental, food, and other local resources.
• Coordinate vendors, partners, and activities to run events smoothly.
• Meet weekly with supervisor to review goals and programs.
• Submit monthly activity and impact reports.
