Job summary

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is seeking mission-minded coordinators to support residents in an Aurora, CO community. The role involves planning social activities, building relationships, and helping people experience God’s love.

This paid part-time position offers 8 hours per month at $20 per hour, with work primarily evenings and weekends. Coordinators will drive to the community and collaborate with property management to serve residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports.
• Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Have availability to commit weekly hours, mainly evenings and weekends.
• Be able to commit to serving in the apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host one event per month for residents to care for and connect with them.
• Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with community support.
• Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share experiences.
• Develop marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social posts.
• Manage the event budget process and prepare monthly summaries.
• Meet with staff and program director for planning and development.
• Engage volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact.
