Job summary

Apartment Life in California is seeking an Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite) to plan and host monthly resident events for one Colton, CA community. This is a paid, part-time role requiring evening and weekend availability and a valid driver's license.

You will coordinate with residents, staff, and local partners, manage event budgets, create marketing materials, and provide monthly summaries.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and required reports.
• Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance with access to reliable transportation.
• Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to commit weekly hours mainly in evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host 1 event each month for residents in the apartment community.
• Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with help from volunteers.
• Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share experiences online.
• Develop marketing materials such as calendars, flyers, and social posts.
• Manage the event budget process and prepare monthly summaries.
• Meet with staff and program director for planning and development.
• Engage a network of volunteers, vendors, and partners to maximize impact.
• Visit new residents after move-in to connect with them.
