Building One Community in Stamford, CT seeks a dynamic Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager to lead and grow our volunteer program, expanding partnerships with corporations, schools, faith communities, and civic organizations.

Reporting to the Development Director, you will oversee a 400+ volunteer base, develop meaningful opportunities, and manage communications and events to raise awareness of B1C's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in volunteer management or community engagement.
• Spanish proficiency required; additional language skills helpful.
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Canva and Constant Contact are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead all aspects of the volunteer lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, placement, recognition and retention.
• Manage a volunteer program with 400+ volunteers and coordinate opportunities with internal teams.
• Develop meaningful volunteer opportunities and guide engagement strategies.
• Maintain volunteer records and reporting in Salesforce; track participation and impact.
• Oversee volunteer communications and design recognition activities and events.
• Build relationships with corporations, schools, faith communities and civic groups.
