Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with two years of clerical accounting experience, including cashiering.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping, cash handling and data entry practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform high volume cashiering for student payments by cash, check and card.
• Balance reports and post monies to district accounts.
• Access student records, enter data, and clear holds on transcripts.
• Distribute financial aid checks, bills and parking passes.
• Provide information in person and by phone to students and staff.
• Train and direct hourly cashiers and assist with procedures.
