Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Greenville home care team in a part-time capacity. The role involves providing direct patient care in clients' residences, with shifts rotating to three days per week, 12 noon to 5 pm.

You will follow the Plan of Care and document care activities in the EVV system. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift and assist with transfers.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification as required; state-specific credentials may apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing.
• Empathy and a supportive attitude toward patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned based on client needs.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks and daily living activities.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed.
• Deliver basic nursing care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Prepare meals with consideration of dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and engage in client-appropriate activities.
• Perform light housekeeping as part of routine care.
• Maintain accurate care records and EVV/task logs.
• Report changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
• Remain dependable and punctual, following the Plan of Care.
