Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Care aide for a part-time role in our Greenville location. The position covers three days per week, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM.

You will provide direct patient care in patients' residences, assist with daily living activities, and document care while upholding confidentiality and safety standards. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care including baths, shaving, hair care, mouth care and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising clinicians.
• Prepare meals considering clients' preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV tasks and timesheets when needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by reporting punctually.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting independence within client abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Contact Action Health Staffing with questions and comments; uphold patient confidentiality.
