Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time home care role in Greenville, NC. Typical hours are 12n–5pm, three days a week, with generous pay and benefits. You will provide direct patient care in patients' residences, assist with daily living activities, and document care as required.

The role requires compassionate care, strong communication, and ability to perform lifting and other physical tasks. Training on EVV and care plans will be provided.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and following directions clearly are essential.
• Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as required by clients.
• Empathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
• Effective communication with clients, families and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned based on client needs.
• Provide personal hygiene care and support daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Complete EVV tasks and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Plan of Care; do not administer medications.
