Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role in Greenville, providing in-home care. The position is 3 days per week, 12:00 noon–5:00 pm, offering competitive pay and benefits in a patient-focused setting.

The CNA will perform direct patient care, personal hygiene assistance, and basic nursing tasks under supervision, while maintaining accurate records and upholding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care and support.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities in line with client needs.
• Light housekeeping and record-keeping.
• Report changes in client condition and maintain Plan of Care.
