Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time home care role in Greenville. The position runs 3 days a week, 12:00–17:00, with excellent pay and benefits when applicable.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in patients' residences, assist with daily living activities, and follow the plan of care under supervision. This role emphasizes dependability, compassion, and teamwork within a home care team.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills including reading, writing and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in home care settings.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, shaving, hair care, mouth care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of RN/PT/OT/ST as prescribed.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets as directed.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities as appropriate.
• Perform light housekeeping activities as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the agency.
• Record and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Complete tasks in EVV app for Aide Plan tasks or EVV timesheets as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by arriving punctually.
