Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Care aide for a part-time role in Greenville, NC. Work 3 days a week from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in the home, assist with daily living activities, monitor patient status, and maintain accurate records under supervision, while upholding patient privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned and per plan of care.
• Provide personal hygiene care including bath, shave, hair and mouth care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and follow prescribed exercises as instructed.
• Prepare meals with dietary considerations as directed.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to each client.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records; report changes to supervisor.
• Complete EVV tasks for Aide Plan or EVV timesheet as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting and reliability.
• Respect client values and promote independence within abilities.
• Follow the Plan of Care; never administer medications.
