Job summary

StoneRidge is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents at our Mystic, CT campus. This part-time 2nd shift role runs 3pm-11pm, with weekend rotation and opportunities for growth.

You will document care, report observations, and assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and meals. CT CNA registration is required; prior geriatric experience preferred; English communication skills are necessary. Benefits include daily pay options and annual raises.

Qualifications

• State approved nursing assistant training program completed.
• Registration with Connecticut state registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.

Starting Pay: $20.50-$24 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials

• Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.
