Job summary

StoneRidge Senior Living in Mystic, CT seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), 16 hours per week. You will assist with daily activities and basic care, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.

Starting pay is $20.50–$24 per hour with shift and weekend differentials; comprehensive benefits, PTO, 401(k), and opportunities for professional development accompany employment.

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA training completed.
• Registration with CT CNA registry required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English and perform basic arithmetic.
• Prior geriatric CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Provide treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

1. Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.
2. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
3. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
4. Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.
