StoneRidge Senior Living Community in Mystic, CT is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility. The role involves assisting with treatments, documenting care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with the CT registry is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care given to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Perform treatments, tests, procedures and specimen collection as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments and procedures.
• Move residents as needed and respond to signals promptly.
• Change bed linens and keep rooms clean and orderly.

• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Registration with State of Connecticut registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
• Ability to legibly track and document care given to each resident.
