Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Kansas seeks a part-time Certified Medication Aid (CMA). You will administer medications, support residents with daily living activities, and document care according to individualized plans, while maintaining safety and dignity.

You report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team to promote independence and high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and medication administration per individualized plan.
• Document observations and care in MAR and nursing records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain timely, accurate communication with supervisors and families.
• Support safety, fall prevention, and infection control practices.
