Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and deliver direct resident care under the Director of Nursing. You will follow individualized care plans, support activities of daily living, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate with physicians, families, and supervisors to promote safety and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide certification is required.
• Insulin certification is preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following individualized care plans.
• Document observations, interventions, and medication administration accurately.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with ADLs as needed.
• Communicate changes to physicians, supervisors, and families.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and activities of daily living.
